Art-truck funs
So my friend Josh from Artisticmedia.biz called me up yesterday needing help moving a 500 lb display that he and Ben and Jim made for a Rolex shoot. The item iteself was an ice wall prop made entirely of sculpted parrafin wax. Apparently it was three and a half pains in the ass to make. So, I had just finished welding some lash points to the frame so what better way to test the rig than to parade thru downtown with a completely improbable object strapped to the bed. It takes longer than I thought to beat a Toyota back into shape. I generally only destroy cars, literally. Mercilessness
today I killed a keyboard. A small black Dell keyboard that was probably still working. It was not really the keyboards fault. It was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Two out of three of my computers have called in sick. Only the crusty aphasic chronically weird shop computer has been hanging tough and so, when it seemed the little bastard keyboard was giving me trouble, we had a little argument. I tapped the sticking key, just tapped, really…. The first time. The second time was more of a smack and the third time, well.. that was really more of a full blooded strike intended to maim, incapacitate, kill and destroy.
